Today’s Bible Verse:

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

🌅 Daily Bible Verse September 30, 2026

Today’s Bible verse is a beautiful reminder to recognize each day as a gift from God.

As September comes to an end, it is easy to focus on everything that did not happen, unanswered prayers, missed opportunities, unfinished goals, or challenges experienced throughout the month.

But Psalm 118:24 calls us to pause and recognize God’s goodness in the present moment.

“This is the day which the LORD hath made…”

Today is not an accident. It is another opportunity to live, pray, serve, grow, work, love, forgive, and trust God.

Even if September did not unfold exactly as you expected, you can still choose gratitude and look forward to what God has ahead.

📖 Meaning of Psalm 118:24

“This is the day which the LORD hath made…”

Every new day is an opportunity to experience God’s grace. We cannot change yesterday, and we do not know everything tomorrow will bring, but we can choose how we respond to today.

The verse encourages us to recognize God’s sovereignty and goodness in the present day.

“…we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Rejoicing does not mean pretending that difficulties do not exist. It means choosing gratitude and hope despite circumstances.

Our joy can be rooted in God rather than depending entirely on whether everything around us is perfect.

🌿 What This Verse Means for You Today

September 30 is an opportunity to look back with gratitude and forward with hope.

Perhaps some prayers were answered. Perhaps others are still waiting. Maybe you experienced victories, disappointments, unexpected changes, or important lessons.

Whatever happened this month, God has brought you to another day.

Don’t allow yesterday’s disappointment to steal today’s joy.

Take a moment to thank God for life, for protection, for provision, for the people He has placed around you, and for the grace that carried you through the month.

Then step into today with faith.

🙏 Prayer for September 30, 2026

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for bringing me to the final day of September.

Thank You for every blessing, every lesson, every answered prayer, every closed door that protected me, and every moment Your grace sustained me.

Lord, I choose to rejoice in this day because You have made it.

Forgive me for the times I focused so much on what I lacked that I failed to appreciate what You had already given me.

Give me a grateful heart. Help me not to be controlled by yesterday’s disappointments or tomorrow’s uncertainties.

As September comes to an end, I surrender everything that happened this month into Your hands. Heal every disappointment, strengthen my faith, and help me learn from every experience.

Prepare me for the new month ahead. Order my steps, bless the work of my hands, guide my decisions, and help me walk according to Your purpose.

May October bring fresh opportunities for growth, wisdom, peace, and deeper fellowship with You.

Thank You for the gift of today.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
